Our 3 Minute Theory section is for theoretical concepts, ideas and analysis of between 300 – 600 words. Alternatively, researchers may submit 3-6 minute videos to our YouTube channel.
These are quick written articles to disseminate core ideas, and to engage in an accessible but thorough way with contemporary games studies theorists and developers.
Topics must be related to video game studies (this can include gamer communities). Proposals may be in response to video game clips, video game commentary or specific video games/series.
Proposals should be sent to networkmultiplay@gmail.com with the subject heading ‘3 Minute Theory’. These should be accompanied with 100 word author biographies.
All references should adhere to the Harvard style.
